These Days Are Just Packed #3

Have you ever lain awake at night tracing the ways in which you still deeply believe your best self is waiting just around the river bend behind a tangled curtain of willow branch-esque products and services, and all you need to do to bring The Real You out of hiding is swiping a credit card or placing a stack of cash on the checkout counter of the great big bodega in the sky? Same. And have you ever felt like the belief that you have to pay a fee in order to belong in the world has soaked so far down into the core of your being that you’d need to float in cosmic vinegar for 52 weeks for it leave in a meaningful way? SAME. Which is why today we are talking about jackets and patches. After a long time of saying I was gonna get into it, I’ve finally embarked on my quest to create a Jacket with Patches On It that I can hand down to my robot grandkids someday and I figured I would share my starting place with you in case it sounds like a fun dungeon for you to explore too.

And I’m buying patches like the ones below from places like Patch Collection, Teenage Engineering, and random stores I don’t know about yet because I have to find them first by walking around towns and traveling to other places on the earth. Happy Monday amigos.
